Classes and Support Groups
Bridgeway House has developed new policy’s and procedures for our classes. These new procedures were developed to ensure that we are meeting the needs of the community and respecting the time of our instructor’s. Please be advised that all classes will now be in a 6 week series format. Also we are now requiring a registration and materials fee.
Scholarships are available for all class fees. Please call for scholarship application process. There will be a maximum number of participants per series. The deadline for registration will be one week prior to the start of each class. If a minimum number of participants fail to pre-register the class may be cancelled at the instructors discretion.

Music Therapy with Emily Jensen
Music Therapy group, held Wednesdays at 3 p.m. incorporates songs, games,
rhythmic instruments and dancing. Lots of fun for kids and parents,
alike! The
cost for the six-week series is $100. Scholarships are available.
New class begins April 4th at 3:00 p.m.
Emily Jensen, our board certified Music Therapist, now has openings for individual therapy sessions. Sessions are designed to address your child's own unique needs, be it communication, concentration, academic or social skill development.

Tutoring

Girls Social Group
GROUP 1: Ages 12-16
We are excited to offer a social group for girls aged 12-16 at Bridgeway House. The aim of this group is to introduce the girls to one another in a small and supportive setting. Based upon their interests, arts and crafts projects, games and topic specific conversations will be used to allow the girls the opportunity to work on social skills with peers that may lead to building lasting friendships.
Thursdays, 3:30 p.m.
GROUP 2: Ages 7-10
We are excited to offer a social group for girls aged 7-10 at Bridgeway House. The aim of this group is to introduce the girls to one another in a small and supportive setting. Based upon their interests, arts and crafts projects, games and topic specific conversations will be used to allow the girls the opportunity to work on social skills with peers that may lead to building lasting friendships.

Teen Boys Social Group
We are excited to offer a social group for teen boys aged 14-17 (ages can be flexible) at Bridgeway House. The aim of this group is to introduce one another in a small and supportive setting.This group is led by Pat Hayes and Suzanne, and they will be doing a lot of social outings.

Preschoolers Social Group
This group for boys and girls will provide an opportunity to gather with same age peers in a supervised, exploratory play environment. Activities will be tailored to the needs of the participants. Emphasis will be on encouraging parallel play and on gently introducing interactive skills. This group is for 4-5 Year Olds.

Parent Support Groups
PARENT SUPPORT GROUP 1
Parents w/ children up to 7 years old
Every other Tuesday starting March 4th, 6:30-8pm
This group is designed to support the parents of children with autism or related disabilities. This
group is vital to help those parents who are caring for
a special needs child to voice their concerns to those who understand.
The group is facilitated by Debby Laiman, PhD. Debby is an early childhood School Psychologist who has a special interest in working with children with autism and their families. Childcare is available, so please call ahead if needed. We encourage both parents to participate if possible.
PARENT SUPPORT GROUP 2
Parents w/ children 7 years and older
Every other Tuesday starting March 11th, 6:30-8pm
This group is designed to support the parents of children with autism or related disabilities. This
group is vital to help those parents who are caring for

Low-Cost Counseling
Joanne ZumBrunen will be providing counseling services through Bridgeway House for families with special needs for $20 a session! Fee waivers are available upon request. In the near future we hope to be able to accept insurance. Call Joanne at 541-345-0805 to schedule an appointment.
