Parent Support Group - Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend. No registration needed. Childcare is available, but please call in advance if needed. Check the calendar for the next meeting date. Mothers with Daughters on the Spectrum Support Group – Contact Bridgeway House to preregister for this group. Asperger’s Support Group for Adult Professionals - Contact Bridgeway House for more information and to preregister for this group. Low Cost Counseling - Low cost counseling services available through Bridgeway House for families with special needs. Music Therapy - Private or group therapy sessions are available. Tutoring - Tutoring is available with direct instruction in reading, math and other subjects. Occupational Therapy - A licensed Occupational Therapist is available to assess and implement a plan for gross and fine motor skills, including Handwriting Without Tears. Speech Therapy - A licensed Speech and Language Pathologist is available to work with your child. Fitness Classes - Classes for children and young adults of all ages and abilities. Sessions are catered to each individual’s needs, interests, and level of ability. Weekend sessions are available upon request.
Helping Other Parents through Education & Support (H.O.P.E.S ): Parent Mentors are assigned to families with a new diagnosis who need help and support navigating the system for autism services. Running Club - Children and youth of all ages can run for enjoyment and fitness indoors or outdoors depending on weather. Running Club meets in Spring and Fall and is a great way to meet new friends and exercise in a supportive environment. No running experience necessary.
